Our founder, Joshua Blair, a single dad raising his college All American son, Travis, realized the importance of having a strong support network. He recognized the need to address health disparities, especially for minorities lacking access to bone marrow donors. This realization led to a profound collaboration with Delete Blood Cancer and a heartfelt commitment to increase the number of minority donors.

But our vision expanded beyond health care. We understood that to create lasting change, we needed to bridge the communication gaps between charitable organizations and the communities they aimed to serve. We heeded the call of renowned author Michelle Alexander, who urged us to move beyond “color blindness” and see each other for who we truly are.

With unwavering determination, we established Bridgilance Charity Services, a platform for building bridges and fostering collaboration. Our diverse team of passionate individuals, including healthcare professionals, educators, activists, and industry leaders, came together to create a powerful force for change.

Through impactful partnerships with organizations like NYC Public Schools Athletic League (PSAL) and Women’s Professional Basketball Alumnae (WPBA), we developed programs that empower young athletes to engage in community service and develop essential life skills.

The core of our inspiration lies in connecting resources and networks to serve those in need. We believe in supporting single parents, uplifting underserved communities, and addressing social challenges that demand our attention.
